Children's Art Village Fundraising Event Saturday, May 1st, 2010 (7-9 PM) 1109 Montana Avenue, Santa Monica, CA
The Children's Art Village will be hosting a fundraising event at Scribble Press located on 11th and Montana in Santa Monica. Come
and join us for a night of fun, learn more about what CAV is doing and
create artwork at art stations set up for the evening. Bring your
friends and family and have a wonderful evening. Raffle and silent auction for artwork
done by premiere international artists and donated arts and crafts.
Dinner and drinks will be served. A $20 donation per person is
appreciated.
About Scribble Press..........born from an idea by two moms in Los Angeles, kids of all ages from toddlers to adults, can create
works of art and tell stories which are transformed into books, address
labels, note pads -- you name it.
Art Camp India May 24 - 29, 2010
Volunteers from the United States and local teachers from Chennai, India in association with the Aadhi Arts Academy will launch the sustainable Creative Arts curriculum at the Sevayala Orphanage with a summer art program.

The Children's Art Village has been invited to exhibit 45 of our children's artwork at the AT & T Gallery of Children's Art, located at the Sheldon Concert Hall and Art Galleries in St. Louis, MO. Each year approximately 70,000 people walk through the gallery halls. We are extremely honored and excited about this invitation! The "Colors of Hope: Artwork from the Children's Art Village" exhibit will run from February - May 2011.

World's Children Festival - June 2011 The National Mall - Washington, DC
The Children's Art Village has been invited by the International Child Art Foundation to submit our children's work to be on exhibit at The National Mall in Washington for the World's Children Festival. The world’s largest international children’s celebration lasts for
three days with over 3 million children's artwork displayed throughout. The the children are the celebrities. They stage
the festival and are the MCs. Young artists, musicians, dancers, and
performers from across the globe showcase their talents, learn from
each other, and build a nexus for the future.
